Creating a vision for the Oxford-Cambridge Arc
Applies to England
Consultation description
In February 2021, the government published a policy paper that set out how we intend to develop a Spatial Framework to help us realise our ambition to support sustainable economic growth in the Oxford-Cambridge Arc - the area that spans the 5 ceremonial counties of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire.
The consultation document, 鈥楥reating a Vision for the Oxford-Cambridge Arc鈥, sets out the government鈥檚 first public consultation on the Oxford-Cambridge Arc Spatial Framework. We are seeking views to help us create a vision for the Oxford-Cambridge Arc Spatial Framework, and in doing so guide the future growth of the area to 2050.
To ensure sustainability is embedded in the Spatial Framework we are producing a Sustainability Appraisal. As we are also seeking views on the initial work we have done to set the scope of the Sustainability Appraisal, a Scoping Report has been prepared as part of this consultation.
We are consulting on both documents. To respond to the consultation, you can share your views on our .
