Consultation description

This consultation seeks your views on implementing four of the most recent amendments made to the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (鈥榯he MLC鈥�) into UK legislation, see Annexes A and B.

Annexes C and D outline the accompanying guidance and annex E details the costing analysis.

Annex F provides an overview of the MLC 2006 amendments for 2022.

In particular, your views are sought on the associated costs, impacts and any potential gaps or unintended consequences.

A full list of consultation questions is contained in section 5 of the consultation document.

Responses are welcomed from 11th December 2024 until 22nd January 2025.

The consultation response form and consultation feedback form are also attached separately as open formatted documents.
