The government response summarises the responses received and the government鈥檚 view on:

  • proposed business model to support industrial聽CCUS听诲别辫濒辞测尘别苍迟
  • the investability and suitability of the proposed business model for incentivising efficient decarbonisation and delivering value for money
  • the interaction of the Waste ICC Contract and the waste hierarchy

This response will be of interest to聽CCUS聽stakeholders, including:

  • investors and developers in potential聽CCUS听辫谤辞箩别肠迟蝉
  • the energy sector
  • industry, including energy intensive industries

Detail of feedback received

We received 25 responses from individuals, businesses, trade bodies and other organisations.

The responses were generally technical in nature in response to the specific design of the proposed contractual terms.

  • proposed ICC Terms and Conditions and ICC Front End Agreement

This consultation will be of interest to CCUS stakeholders, including:

  • investors and developers in potential CCUS projects
  • the energy sector
  • industry, including energy intensive industries
  • the waste sector

but any organisation or individual is welcome to respond.
