Regulatory Interface Management (RIM) group
The Regulatory Interface Management (RIM) group鈥檚 purpose is to provide a forum for early engagement concerning regulatory matters related to the implementation of geological disposal for higher activity radioactive wastes.
Role of the group
The group鈥檚 role is advisory; it does not perform an executive role or agree regulatory permissions.
The group meets on a quarterly basis and comprises representatives from:

regulators - the Environment Agency, the , and the

representatives of other permissioning bodies
Regulatory scrutiny
