Public Health England Cancer Board
Lead and co-ordinate PHE鈥檚 cancer-related work to support the Independent Cancer Taskforce recommendations to prevent and beat cancer.
The Public Health England (PHE) Cancer Board, chaired by our CEO, provides strategic leadership across the organisation to ensure that we deliver on recommendations from the Cancer Taskforce. We lead on the prevention workstream.
The board is also responsible for our cancer programme, which co-ordinates all of our cancer-related activity across the patient pathway and reports to the PHE Delivery Board.

The report identifies strategic priorities, where PHE鈥檚 programmes contribute directly to improving outcomes. The priority areas are:
