The Competition and Markets Authority鈥檚 (CMA) research into competition, innovation, productivity and growth.

Part of the CMA, the Microeconomics Unit carries out economic research focusing on issues of competition, innovation and productivity to support growth in the UK economy.

The unit provides expertise to the CMA and wider UK government, helping them to stay informed of emerging economic trends. This supports the CMA in its work to help people, businesses and the UK economy by promoting competitive markets and tackling unfair behaviour.
