On the 1 July 2021, the Chancellor set out in a speech at Mansion House the next steps the government is taking to deliver the government鈥檚 vision for the future of financial services in the UK.
The Chancellor鈥檚 Mansion House speech and accompanying document 鈥� 鈥楢 new chapter for financial services鈥� 鈥� set out the government鈥檚 vision for an open, green, and technologically advanced financial services sector that is globally competitive and acts in the interests of communities and citizens, creating jobs, supporting businesses, and powering growth across all of the UK.
Alongside the speech and document, the government has published a number of consultations which take forward this strategy.
