If you're visiting an EU country

To get medically necessary state healthcare when visiting EU countries, you鈥檒l need a UK-issued Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) or European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). You can find out about on the NHS website. If you鈥檙e visiting Ireland or Spain, see the documents below.
