Framework agreements describe the working relationship between the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and its arm鈥檚 length bodies (ALBs).
Framework agreements set out arrangements for departments to monitor and understand their arm鈥檚 length bodies鈥� (ALBs鈥�) strategy, performance and delivery, and are a core constitutional document of the ALB.
They are an agreement between departments and their ALBs, and govern the collaborative relationship between the ALB, the sponsor department and the rest of government.
