Statistics about food transport in the UK.

This publication examines the environmental and social impacts of food transport for the UK. It includes four indicators:

  • urban food kilometres
  • heavy goods vehicle food kilometres
  • air food kilometres
  • carbon dioxide emissions from food transport

Transport of exported food is not covered.
