Over 拢120,000 funding for Mind in Bexley
拢120,550 was allocated to Mind in Bexley and East Kent Ltd in Canterbury in December 2022 from the UK Community Ownership Fund.
Mind in Bexley and East Kent Ltd is a leading community mental health charity organisation affiliated to National Mind.
With this funding the organisation aims to create a sustainable community caf茅 and mental health hub called Revival Food and Mood for local Canterbury and Thanet residents. Mind in Bexley will re-home a community heritage asset, a former shop, which has been empty and neglected for over 4 years.
This funding will transform the heritage asset into a repaired, renovated, secure and sustainable community hub within the Canterbury and Thanet district.
