Making a splash with 拢15.5 million at Moseley Road Baths
Over 拢15 million from the Levelling Up Fund will restore the building's heritage features, returning it to its former glory.

The Grade II listed first opened in 1907. Now, over 拢15 million from the Levelling Up Fund will:
- make the building more accessible
- prevent further decline
The investment will restore the building鈥檚 heritage features, returning it to its former glory.
Cllr Mariam Khan, Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care said:
I鈥檓 so proud of the work done by so many organisations working together to breathe new life into this amazing building, though of course this project has always been about far more than this; it is a real community asset, run by and for local people but open to everyone.
This funding will bring fresh investment and opportunities to the Balsall Heath area.

Improvements to the baths
The funding will help safeguard and improve the building with:
- better connections to Balsall Heath Library
- essential building repairs
- the installation of new lifts
Viv Harrison, General Manager for Moseley Road Baths, said
Moseley Road Baths has been at the heart of the Balsall Heath community for 115 years. It鈥檚 wonderful that we鈥檝e been able to come together with other organisations who share a love of this beautiful Grade II listed building, to champion our local heritage and secure it for future generations. This levelling up funding has come out of decades of campaigning by the local community to keep the pool open for swimming, and we couldn鈥檛 be more excited about the future!
