Almost 拢125,000 to redevelop Visitor Information Centre in Stirling

Almost 拢125,000 was allocated to redevelop the Callander Visitor Information Centre in Stirling. The funding will support the refurbishment of the building.

A permanent home for the centre

In 2021, the derelict high street bank was purchased to give the volunteer-run Visitor Information Centre a permanent home. The Community Ownership Funding will help transform the building into a working space.

A boost for the local area

The refurbishment will give the Visitor Information Centre a valuable base on the high street. It will also boost local tourism in the areas of:

  • Trossachs National Park
  • Loch Lomond
