A 拢20 million boost for new development in Luton
拢20 million was allocated for a new development in Luton. Plans for the funding will support the town centre masterplan and Luton鈥檚 vision for 2040.
The stage
The planned development is named 鈥楾he Stage鈥� and located at Bute Street car park. Plans include:
- retail and business space
- improved public spaces
- 405 new homes
- multi use community space including performance space
- a cycle hub

- support the growth of local businesses
- reduce crime and antisocial behaviour
