拢250,000 for Fatfield鈥檚 St George's Church
拢250,000 was allocated to St George's Church Fatfield in Washington in December 2022 from the UK Community Ownership Fund.
St George鈥檚 Church is the base for a range of social groups and events providing support to community members through partnership with charities.
This funding will enable an annexe to be built to the church building to better accommodate community need. The church hopes the extra space will enable:
- activities to continue
- new activities to be started
- improved accessibility
