拢20 million from the Levelling Up Fund was awarded to Sandwell to rebuild Haden Hill Leisure Centre.
An improved facility for the local community听
The locally popular leisure centre needs improvements to meet the high demand for sport and leisure facilities in Rowley Regis.听
The existing Haden Hill Leisure Centre is now 46 years old and very well used. The current swimming pool will be demolished and replaced with a new facility, and the remainder of the Leisure Centre will be upgraded to include:听听
- a 6-lane pool and learner pool听
- a wet change village听
- a 4-court sports hall听
- a new state-of-the-art gym听
- a spin studio and dance studios听
- improved accessibility of the building听
The new facility will be able to accommodate a larger number of members and users. This will meet the demand of current users and help attract new ones.听听
