拢18 million to fund transport projects across Nottingham

拢18 million from the Levelling Up Fund is being invested in Nottingham. The funding will support three projects focused on streets and neighbourhoods across the city.

Streets for people

This area of funding will focus on priorities identified by local people; to make streets more accessible, active travel easier and streets safer.

Greener Streets

This area of funding will expand the city鈥檚 electric vehicle charging network and install LED lighting across the city.

Schools Streets

拢1.5 million will fund the Schools Streets programme that encourages healthy and sustainable ways of getting to school
