COVID-19 rules聽聽
There are no COVID-19 testing or vaccination requirements for travellers entering South Sudan. On rare occasions, some travellers have been asked to show proof of vaccination. You can get proof of vaccination:

Passport validity requirements
To enter South Sudan, your passport must have an 鈥榚xpiry date鈥� at least 6 months after the day you arrive and have at least 2 blank pages.
Check with your travel provider that your passport and other travel documents meet requirements. Renew your passport if you need to.
You will be denied entry if you do not have a valid travel document or try to use a passport that has been reported lost or stolen.

Vaccine requirements
To enter South Sudan, you must have a certificate to prove you鈥檝e had a yellow fever vaccination.

Harassment related to vaccine certificates, visas and work permits聽聽
South Sudan鈥檚 security services have harassed, detained and expelled foreign nationals, including non-governmental organisation staff and journalists, when they enter or leave Juba airport. These incidents are often linked to proof of yellow fever vaccination, and visa and work permit issues. Make sure you have the correct visa and any required work permit.
