Abstract

Discussion of data protection issues frequently involves the use of the term 鈥榟arm鈥�. The Information Commissioner鈥檚 Office鈥檚 (ICO) Harm Project seeks to improve the understanding of harm in a data protection context. In this document, we set out our framework for harms, our evidence base, and a taxonomy of data protection harms.
